Instructions for use
  1. Remove jewellery and gloves. Switch off nearby electronic equipment.
  2. Hold the tool by the handle (do not touch the top area as this will affect the detection sensors).
  3. Switch on the device.
  4. Place the appliance directly against a wall.
  5. For concrete walls only: move the wall scanner in a circular motion before proceeding to the next step. This will ensure the best performance with rebar mesh.
  6. Move the tool in a straight line across the wall surface.
  7. To determine the most accurate location of the object you want to detect, move the device over the object until the LED ring lights green, then move the device back to determine the centre of the object.
  8. If the direction of the detected object (e.g. pipe, tensioned cable) is unknown, measure crosswise; scan from left to right, then lift the unit up and start a new measurement, scanning up and down. In this way, you can make sure that the instrument has crossed the object and the object is detected.
