- Self pickup. - Does your car have roof racks? We only offer box hire.
- Open the boot hatch of the car to see how far the roof box extends to the ground (so that the box doesn't hit the hatch).
- It is recommended that the two of you lift the roof box onto the roof of the car. You can also do it alone, but there is a risk of scratching the car or dropping the box.
- Unscrew the box from the key (the locks are on both sides) and press the button until the red colour appears.
- If the box doesn't open when you lift the lid with your hand, check that you've pressed the button all the way down. Then use your hand to lift the box from the front and back.
- Inside the box, there are four swivel mounts (you can move the mounts forward and backward according to the position of your frames).
- Unscrew the knobs and make sure the cams are nicely positioned around the roof frames.
- After that, turn all four knobs to CLICK. Then the box is properly attached to the frame of your car.
- In cold climates, there is a risk of the lock and the edges of the box freezing. In this case, you should calmly move the key in the lock and open the box with your hand. So far, it has always come unlocked in the end.
- When you close the lid, make sure you also lock the lock. That way, no one can access your things.
- Don't lose your key! The box can only be opened with the key.
